[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] LG Electronics announced on the 15th that it recently donated five washing machines and five dryers each to Ithaca, a non-profit organization operating a mobile laundry service for the homeless in Greece.
Employees of Ithaca are taking a commemorative photo in front of a vehicle equipped with LG Electronics washing machines and dryers. The donated products will be used at the Athens Homeless Support Center managed by Ithaca.
LG Electronics expects that using the donated products will significantly increase the amount of laundry that can be washed and dried simultaneously, contributing to the improvement of hygiene conditions for the homeless.
