According to Mokpo Coast Guard on the 14th, at 3:47 p.m. on the 13th, a report was received from a health center that Mr. Kim (58 years old), residing in Jodo, Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, showed symptoms suspected of stroke along with severe dizziness and needed to be transported to a hospital.
The Coast Guard dispatched a patrol boat, boarding the patient and guardian, and monitored the patient’s condition through a remote medical system during transport. They arrived at Seomang Port, Jindo, at 5:12 p.m. and safely handed over the patient to the waiting 119 emergency medical team.
Thanks to the Coast Guard’s assistance, Mr. Kim was transported to Mokpo Central Hospital, where he is undergoing detailed examinations and treatment.
