skyTV Original 'We Play' Exported to Japan... Full-Scale Overseas Expansion

On the 14th, according to SkyTV, SkyTV's original content 'We Play' seasons 1 and 2 were sold to Japan's major content distributor 'Across'. 'Couples Who Want to Get Hot Again' will start streaming through the global internet video service (OTT) company Netflix.
Short-form digital content produced by SkyTV, such as 'Yeri Hanbang' and 'Maeil Sapjil', will also be available to viewers in over 190 countries worldwide, including the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Oceania, and Asia, through the global video and community platform 'Rakuten Viki'.
SkyTV has been steadily investing in content production since 2019. In addition to in-house production, it is planning and co-producing diverse content through collaboration with other broadcasters. Since last year, the total number of original broadcast contents created by SkyTV has reached 13, and the cumulative views of digital content uploaded on its official YouTube channel have exceeded 60 million.

As KT Group declared its leap into a 'digital platform' company, its affiliate SkyTV plans to increase its own content production to maximize synergy with the group.
