Kibo Obtains Safety and Health Management System Certification
Recognition Including Establishment of In-house Risk Assessment System
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Jung Yoon-mo, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 11th that it has obtained the 'KOSHA-MS' certification for its occupational health and safety management system.
'KOSHA-MS' is the latest occupational health and safety management system certification program, evaluated and certified by the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency based on criteria that reflect the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and the advantages of the international standard ISO45001 for systems operated to establish industrial safety and health frameworks at workplaces.
Kibo is proactively implementing a series of industrial safety and health activities, including declaring safety and health management policies and establishing its own risk assessment system called 'KIBO-RAS' for preventive industrial safety. Although the work environment has relatively lower industrial accident risks compared to manufacturing industries, this certification acquisition is evaluated as laying the foundation for creating a safer workplace.
