Gwangju Veterans Office, Discharged Soldiers Complete 'Fire Industry Technician Course'

This specialized entrusted training began on August 19 and 90% of the tuition was supported by national funds.
The training institution was selected through a public contest at the end of last year, chosen by external expert review as a course highly preferred by veterans and helpful for employment and entrepreneurship.
The Gwangju Veterans Affairs Office is preparing for next year's specialized entrusted training contest and plans to announce it on the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs website and the Veterans Support Center website within this month.
Meanwhile, the Gwangju Regional Veterans Affairs Office Veterans Support Center provides various education programs funded by the government, such as vocational competency development training fees and cyber training, to strengthen the employment capabilities of mid- to long-term service veterans who have faithfully performed national defense duties for more than five years and have been discharged.
