Portal 'Daum' News Experiences 30-Minute Access Disruption "Currently Restored"

A Kakao official stated, "Due to an internal system update, there was an issue where access to some news services was not smooth," and added, "We took immediate action after recognizing the issue. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to users."

Previously, Daum also experienced an access error for about 50 minutes on October 23. The access environment was unstable, with images not displaying properly on mobile and PC screens. At that time, Kakao explained, "There was an issue where access was not smooth due to a network error."
