Ministry of Education Signs Employment Support Agreement for Vocational High School Graduates
Ministry of Education, Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, and Korea Student Aid Foundation Gather in One Place
[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] The Ministry of Education announced on the 9th that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund and the Korea Student Aid Foundation to promote employment for vocational high school graduates and connect them with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
This business agreement was made to support SMEs struggling to secure talent due to the impact of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and vocational high school students seeking employment information at SMEs. Through the agreement, activities such as job discovery, establishment and operation of a talent registration system, and job matching through online job fairs will be conducted. The Korea Credit Guarantee Fund and the Korea Student Aid Foundation will recruit and support companies conducting field training and cooperate to ensure smooth field training for vocational high school students.
