View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Eugene Group announced on the 9th that Eugene Corporation, Eugene Investment & Securities, Dongyang, and Eugene Savings Bank have jointly joined the Seoul Regional Sharing Excellence Companies.
The Sharing Excellence Companies program is a donor program hosted by the Community Chest of Korea, in which companies that have donated more than 100 million KRW or pledged donations within three years participate. This is the first time multiple affiliates have joined simultaneously at the group level.
These four companies were recognized for continuously engaging in sharing activities to fulfill corporate social responsibility and were consecutively registered as Seoul Sharing Excellence Companies No. 10, 11, 12, and 13.
A Eugene Group official stated, “We will take the lead in spreading the culture of sharing and coexistence in our society by reaching out to marginalized neighbors and planting seeds of hope.”

Meanwhile, Eugene Group is conducting sharing activities to overcome the COVID-19 crisis centered on the Hope Sharing Committee, the group’s social contribution council. In early February, at the onset of the COVID-19 spread, they donated 50,000 masks to protect the health and safety of vulnerable children. Recently, they supported volunteers dedicated to preventing the spread of COVID-19 with domestic agricultural products.
