After receiving a report on next year's economic policy direction from Deputy Prime Minister Hong, President Moon said, "This year, the Korean economy is expected to have the highest GDP growth rate among OECD countries, and exports are also rebounding," and praised, "The economic team has managed the economy very well this year despite the difficulties caused by COVID-19." He added, "I hope they will continue to do well next year."
In addition, President Moon requested active support from financial authorities regarding securing COVID-19 treatments and vaccinations.
