[Breaking] Seven Confirmed Cases Including Nutritionists in Siheung Sihwa Hospital Kitchen... Hospital Operating Normally
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] On the 6th, Siheung City in Gyeonggi Province announced that seven workers in the kitchen of Sihwa Hospital tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Siheung City's quarantine authorities, after a nutritionist in their 20s, identified as A, was first confirmed positive on the 5th, diagnostic tests were conducted on 25 kitchen staff members, resulting in six additional confirmed cases. Fortunately, an additional test conducted on about 790 people, including medical staff, at a temporary screening clinic showed all negative results.
Immediately after the first confirmed case, Sihwa Hospital disinfected the kitchen, disposed of all food, and replaced meals with packed lunches.
