Gwangju Bank Sells 'Mokpo Haesang Cable Car Mobile Tickets'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 3rd that it will sell mobile admission tickets for the Mokpo Marine Cable Car.
The Mokpo Marine Cable Car, selected as one of the top 100 tourist destinations by the Korea Tourism Organization, is a tourist attraction featuring the longest domestic ride distance of 3.23 km and the highest domestic height of 155 m, offering panoramic sea views, the golden sunset of the Dadohae, the entire city of Mokpo, and the scenic beauty of Yudalsan Mountain all at a glance.
Accordingly, Gwangju Bank held a business agreement ceremony at its headquarters on the same day, attended by Song Jong-wook, President of Gwangju Bank, Jeong In-chae, Chairman of Mokpo Marine Cable Car, Park Jae-wan, CEO of Park Gye-jang Tour Co., Ltd., and other officials, promising mutual cooperation to revitalize the local economy through the promotion of regional tourist attractions and tourism products.
The Mokpo Marine Cable Car admission tickets sold by Gwangju Bank can be reserved in advance at all Gwangju Bank branches or directly through non-face-to-face channels (Internet banking, smart banking, mobile web banking), and then issued on-site using a QR code.
This not only reduces waiting times compared to purchasing tickets on-site at the Mokpo Marine Cable Car boarding area, enhancing convenience for tourists, but also reflects the untact culture responding to the post-COVID-19 era by reducing contact between customers in accordance with COVID-19 quarantine guidelines.
