On the afternoon of the 2nd, Superintendent Jang visited Suncheon Medical Center, where the hospital exam site for the Suncheon district was set up, to inspect the quarantine conditions of the exam rooms where COVID-19 positive students would take the test. He then visited Suncheon High School, a general exam site, to conduct a final check on the CSAT preparations and COVID-19 quarantine measures.
Superintendent Jang urged, “Please do not let your guard down until the very end and do your best in quarantine and exam site management so that examinees can perform to the best of their abilities in a safe and comfortable environment.”
The Jeonnam Office of Education reduced the capacity per exam room from the previous 28 to 24 to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infections, and installed droplet-blocking partitions on all examinees’ desks.
The exam sites were prepared as general exam sites (46), separate exam sites (7), and hospital exam sites (3).
On the day of the exam, examinees will have their health status checked on-site in the morning. Those without symptoms will take the test in 642 general exam rooms across 46 general exam sites, while examinees showing symptoms such as coughing or fever will take the test in 138 separate exam rooms with separated movement paths.
Examinees under self-quarantine will take the test at separate exam sites, one in each of the 7 exam districts, and examinees confirmed positive for COVID-19 will take the test at hospital exam sites set up in three base hospitals (Mokpo, Suncheon, Gangjin).
