Yujin Group Delivers College Entrance Exam Support Gifts to Employees' Exam-Taking Children
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Yujin Group announced on the 2nd that it delivered gifts containing messages of support to the children of its employees who will be taking the college entrance exam (Suneung) amid strengthened social distancing measures due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The group's parent company, Yujin Enterprise, presented encouragement letters from management, traditional Korean sweets called yeot wishing for success, planners, and gift certificates to the children of employees taking the exam. To ensure they could take the exam safely amid the rapid spread of COVID-19, personal hygiene items such as masks and hand sanitizers were also provided.
Jung Jin-hak, president of Yujin Enterprise, wrote in a letter, “I send encouragement to all of you who have wisely overcome the difficulties of concentrating on your studies due to COVID-19 and have reached this day,” adding, “Remember the saying that your abilities are fully demonstrated when you do not feel fear toward the tasks ahead, and I hope you achieve good results with a strong heart.”
