On the 26th, Kim said on Facebook, "The truth will be accurately revealed during the state audit process."
He stated, "Minister of Justice Chu Mi-ae is intimidating Prosecutor General Yoon by nitpicking even minor allegations that have not been properly verified," adding, "Was Prosecutor General Yoon really such a flawed prosecutor? Was he a person with so many corruptions that the Blue House and the ruling party, which guarantee his term, are trying to disgrace and oust him to this extent? If so, why did the Blue House make such a fuss to appoint such a person as Prosecutor General in the first place? Let's reveal all these details clearly to the public."
Kim added, "If Prosecutor General Yoon has nothing to be ashamed of, I expect him to confidently participate in the state audit," emphasizing, "Since the president, who has the authority to appoint and dismiss, seems to be hiding behind the curtain out of fear and only watching cautiously, it would be better not to cause the public any more stress over this issue and to have the National Assembly investigate and resolve it cleanly."
He explained the advantages of the state audit, saying, "If a state audit on Prosecutor General Yoon is conducted, Minister Chu, being directly involved, will have no choice but to attend as a witness," and "We can confront Minister Chu and Prosecutor General Yoon and examine each issue one by one."
Kim said, "We can look into not only the truth of the allegations raised by Minister Chu against Prosecutor General Yoon but also whether Minister Chu abused her personnel authority, investigative command, and disciplinary powers to infringe upon the independence and political neutrality of the prosecution," adding, "We can also clarify why investigations into the current administration’s sinister suspicions?such as the corruption of the Cho Kuk family, the Ulsan mayoral election manipulation, the cover-up of Yoo Jae-soo’s inspection, power-related corruption involving Lime and Optimus fund frauds, and the illegal suspicions surrounding the early shutdown of the Wolseong Nuclear Power Plant Unit 1?have been stagnant."
