Kimchi Delivery to 75 Low-Income Households
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Ki-dong] The Saemaeul Women's Association of Sanjeong-dong, Mokpo City (President Park Hee-sook) took the lead in practicing neighborly love by delivering 'Love Kimchi' to underprivileged neighbors in the district on the 23rd, setting an example for the year-end and New Year season.
According to Mokpo City on the 24th, on this day, the Saemaeul Women's Association members personally made kimchi and delivered it to 75 socially vulnerable households having difficulty making kimchi, such as elderly living alone, disabled people, and grandparent-grandchild families, practicing the sharing of love.
In particular, this kimchi sharing event held amid the increasing demand for kimchi among vulnerable groups due to the economic impact of COVID-19 was a much-needed act of sharing, making it even more meaningful.
President Park Hee-sook of the Women's Association said, "I hope the warm hearts of the Sanjeong-dong Women's Association members are fully delivered to the underprivileged neighbors so that they can spend this winter warmly."
