On the 23rd, Hyundai Motor Group announced that it will conduct the social contribution activity for military personnel, the '2020 Soldier's Dignity ON(tact) Communication Concert,' in collaboration with the Ministry of National Defense, Community Chest of Korea, and the Korea Mecenat Association.
Ontact is a concept combining Untact, meaning non-face-to-face, and On, meaning connection through online. This year, due to COVID-19, the concert will be held online in a non-face-to-face format instead of the traditional offline concert. The '2020 Soldier's Dignity ON(tact) Communication Concert' will be held three times on the 23rd, 30th, and the 7th of next month, offering various content to meet with military personnel and the general public.
The '2020 Soldier's Dignity ON(tact) Communication Concert' is themed 'Designing a New Future in the Post-Corona Era' and features online lectures by speed skating national representative Lee Sang-hwa, documentary producer Kim Jin-man who created 'Tears of the Amazon,' and Professor Lee Guk-jong of Ajou University, a pioneer in the field of trauma surgery in Korea.
Additionally, each of the three speakers is matched with different military units, and pre-participation programs such as the 'Counseling Corner for Concerns' of the soldiers and the letter delivery event 'We Deliver Your Stories' have been added to enable soldiers who cannot attend the lecture in person to communicate online with the speakers.
