Started in 2012, the Toyota Weekend Farmers program provides a garden plot to selected 'Weekend Farmers' through an application process. Nobuyuki Takemura, President of Toyota Korea Motor, said, "This year, due to COVID-19, we regrettably could not meet the Weekend Farmers often, but we are glad to continue practicing sharing together without change. I would like to thank the Weekend Farmers who empathized with the purpose of Toyota Lexus's social contribution activities and actively participated in donations. We hope the kimchi prepared with the warmth of the Weekend Farmers will help neighbors have a warmer winter, even if just a little."
