Geumcheon-gu Conducts 'Children's Rights Online Quiz' During Children's Rights Week... Participation Available via Banner on District Website from November 20 to December 6
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) will hold the '2020 Children's Rights Week Online Quiz' on the district's homepage from November 20 to December 6.
Children's Rights Week is a week designated by private organizations such as UNICEF, Good Neighbors, and Save the Children to commemorate November 20, the date of the adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Since being certified as a child-friendly city by UNICEF in July last year, the district has designated November 20 as Children's Rights Week and has been conducting various commemorative events.
This year's Children's Rights Week commemorative event will be held as an online quiz to raise residents' awareness of children's rights.
The online quiz consists of a total of five questions themed around the four major rights of children (right to survival, right to protection, right to development, and right to participation).
Any Geumcheon-gu resident or user of the Geumcheon-gu homepage can participate in the quiz through the banner link on the district's homepage. Among those who answer the quiz correctly, 100 people will be selected by lottery to receive a mobile cultural gift certificate worth 5,000 won.
