Dongshin University Makerspace Project Team Conducts 'Coding, Let's Play'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The Makerspace Project Group at Dongshin University announced on the 19th that it conducted the ‘2020 F-1 Anyone Can Experience Making? Let's Play Coding!’ program.
The program, held over four weeks starting from the 27th of last month, was attended by about 20 local elementary, middle, and high school students as well as the general public.
Participants experienced various applied practice courses including hardware operation using Arduino (a circuit board that can connect various sensors and components) and software coding.
The project group plans to offer various programs such as 3D printing experiences for elementary, middle, and high school students and the general public in the Gwangju and Jeonnam areas until next month.

In May, Dongshin University was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ Makerspace Specialized Lab category and is receiving about 7 billion KRW in support over five years to foster professional makers.
