The Korea Furniture Industry Cooperative Federation announced on the 19th that it has signed a business agreement with Archidraw to establish an online platform for small and medium-sized furniture companies.

To build an increasingly important online platform, the Korea Furniture Industry Cooperative Federation signed a business agreement this morning at 11 a.m. with Sisup (Archisketch), a company specializing in 3D interior platform development. Through this agreement, they plan to implement various sales channel support projects linked to online services, including 3D furniture product modeling, interior design platforms, and online furniture sales targeting small and medium-sized furniture companies.

Sisup (booth number D03) is participating in the KOFURN Furniture Exhibition, where it will hold demonstrations of the 3D interior program "Archisketch" and lectures on "Interior Tips and Home Styling." Visitors can experience the Archisketch program anytime at Sisup's booth, and the lecture will be held on Sunday the 22nd at 1 p.m. for those who have made prior reservations. The lecture can also be watched live in the rest area within the exhibition hall.

Meanwhile, from today until Sunday the 22nd, the 31st Korea International Furniture and Interior Industry Exhibition (hereafter KOFURN), hosted by the Korea Furniture Industry Cooperative Federation, a specialized furniture organization, is being held at KINTEX in Ilsan for four days.

This year's KOFURN features about 180 companies with 820 booths covering 15,876㎡. KOFURN is a comprehensive furniture exhibition representing the furniture industry, showcasing trends across the furniture industry annually, including furniture and interior accessories, woodworking machinery, raw and subsidiary materials, traditional furniture, and furniture designer exhibitions. This year, it presented various furniture and home styling suited to diversified home space functions as time spent at home has increased due to telecommuting, homeschooling, homecations, and home cafes.

KOFURN prepared a variety of events considering both the nature of furniture products, which require seeing, touching, and sitting, and the shift in consumer purchasing methods toward contactless untact. During the exhibition period, the 'KOFURNMALL' Naver Smart Store was launched, and in collaboration with Naver Shopping Live, visitors can purchase KOFURN products in real-time via mobile phones. Products can be experienced on-site and purchased online after the exhibition ends.

This KOFURN furniture exhibition was held to revitalize small and medium-sized furniture companies affected by COVID-19, supporting the maintenance of sales channels and marketing activation for these companies facing difficult times. More than 90% of participating companies are small and medium-sized furniture companies, and to reduce the burden of participation and booth fees, regional pavilions are operated in Gyeonggi-do, Jeollabuk-do, Chungcheongbuk-do, Pocheon-si, and Seongnam-si.

As an experiential furniture exhibition, the Gyeonggi-do joint brand Irochae booth created an on-and-off home stay showroom, showcasing our home stay life of working and playing due to COVID-19. The Master Pavilion offered the emotional experience of Korean craftsmanship with high-end furniture, lacquerware, traditional crafts, and hanji crafts imbued with Korean spirit. Additionally, the exhibition featured a furniture designer gallery and works by graduates of furniture design departments, adding the enjoyment of viewing furniture filled with youthful ideas.

The KOFURN furniture exhibition, full of diverse attractions, runs until Sunday the 22nd and operates from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more details, please visit the KOFURN website.
