Hyundai Mobis Hosts 'Untact Donation RUN' for Charity While Running
[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Hyundai Mobis announced on the 19th that it will hold a new concept social contribution marathon event to promote the spread of non-face-to-face donation culture and environmental protection.
The marathon event, held from the 12th to the 18th of next month, will be conducted in an untact manner, allowing participants to join anytime and anywhere using a running app. All participation fees will be donated to underprivileged neighbors, and a plogging mission, which involves picking up trash while running, will also be carried out to add more meaning.
This event was prepared to alleviate 'COVID-19 depression' caused by the prolonged social distancing, help underprivileged neighbors at the end of the year, and participate in environmental protection.

Detailed information on how to participate in the event can be found on the Hyundai Mobis blog. After receiving the eco-friendly donation run kit, participants can run anywhere they want during the event period using the running measurement community app 'Strava.' Participants can choose one preferred course between the half-day course (5km) and the one-day course (10km).
The total number of participants is 1,500, and the participation fee is 30,000 KRW per person. All participants will receive an 'Eco-friendly Donation Run Kit' as a souvenir, which includes a long-sleeve T-shirt, hip sack, mask and strap, plogging biodegradable bags, runner badge, and completion medal.
Additionally, Hyundai Mobis will hold a 'Drive-in Hope Concert' for untact donation run participants at KINTEX in Ilsan on the 26th of next month. All donation run participants can enjoy the live online concert, and among those who participate in the SNS certification shot mission and plogging mission, 100 people will be able to attend the concert on-site.
The Drive-in Hope Concert will be conducted with all vehicles turning off their engines indoors to reduce exhaust emissions, and participants will connect only to the radio. The event will also include the donation ceremony with the funds collected from the donation run participants and performances by popular singers such as Davichi and Kim Tae-woo.
