KB Kookmin Card to Suspend Some Card Services on the 21st Due to Data Center Relocation
Offline Franchise Store Credit Card Payment Service Available Without Interruption
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] KB Kookmin Card announced on the 19th that some services, including card usage, loan services, and point usage, will be temporarily suspended on the 21st due to the data center relocation work.
Regardless of the data center relocation work, credit card payments at offline merchants will be available as usual without interruption.
To minimize customer inconvenience caused by the temporary service suspension, the following services will be restricted for only 30 minutes starting at midnight on Saturday, the 21st: ▲check card payments ▲short-term card loans (cash services) via automated teller machines (ATMs) ▲card payment notification text messages (SMS) ▲overseas payments with K-World (JCB·UnionPay) cards.
Online merchant credit card payments, as well as ▲short-term card loans (cash services) via online channels ▲Alpha One card payments ▲prepaid and gift card payments ▲KB Pay (app card) payments ▲mobile-only card payments ▲ISP payments ▲simple payments such as Samsung Pay ▲overseas secure payment services will be suspended for one hour starting at midnight on the 21st.
For the website (internet and mobile), services will be suspended for two hours starting at midnight on the 21st.
Additionally, the following services will be temporarily suspended from midnight on the 21st until 6 a.m.: ▲card issuance applications and usage registration ▲immediate withdrawal services ▲virtual account deposits ▲changes to card usage information such as credit limits, payment accounts, payment dates, and passwords ▲point inquiry, usage, and exchange ▲coupon usage ▲affiliate point inquiry and usage ▲Livemate app ▲automated response service (ARS) ▲long-term card loans (card loans) ▲general loans ▲car and Ollis financing ▲university tuition payments ▲registration of various automatic payments.
▲Partial payment rollover agreements (revolving) ▲customer secure payment services ▲simple payments ▲Alpha One payment cards ▲KB Pay (app card) ▲ISP cards ▲mobile-only card-related service applications, changes, and cancellations will also be restricted for six hours starting at midnight on the 21st. The chatbot service Q.D. will be suspended from 6 p.m. on the 20th until midnight on the 22nd.
