EyesVision "Q3 Operating Profit Turns Positive YoY... Profitability-Focused Strategy"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] EyesVision announced on the 17th that it recorded approximately KRW 12.6 billion in sales and about KRW 2 billion in operating profit on a separate basis for the third quarter, and approximately KRW 90.1 billion in sales and about KRW 2.3 billion in operating profit on a consolidated basis.
Although sales slightly decreased, operating profit turned positive on both separate and consolidated bases. The company implemented significant cost reductions by improving inefficient cost structures. In its core business, the MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) sector, EyesVision showed strong growth through diversification of revenue streams by expanding new partnerships and discovering distribution channels.
An EyesVision official explained that the improved performance compared to the same period last year was driven by ▲ restructuring the business structure focused on profitability after the change of management rights, and ▲ cost reductions due to external environmental changes such as changes in work environment and tax law revisions.
