Bohae Jeolmeun Ipsae Volunteer Group, Study Room Creation Volunteer Activity
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Bohae Brewery (CEO Lim Ji-seon) announced on the 16th that the Young Leaves Volunteer Group carried out a study room creation volunteer activity in Donggok-dong, Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 14th.
The members worked up a sweat to ensure that families could live safely and healthily by removing neglected trash inside the house and carrying out wallpapering work. The trash taken out by the members from the warehouse and yard that day amounted to the equivalent of four 1-ton trucks.
Bohae newly selected 60 members of the 27th Young Leaves Volunteer Group in January.
Until now, the Young Leaves Volunteer Group had selected 50 members in the Gwangju, Mokpo, and Suncheon areas, but this year, the number of applicants increased significantly, and the number of active members was increased by 10.
After conducting an orientation at the Bohae Brewery Jangseong Factory in January, activities were temporarily suspended due to the spread of COVID-19.
Since social distancing measures were eased, volunteer activities have been carried out since last month while strictly adhering to quarantine rules.
