Kyobo Lifeplanet Introduces Naver Verification Service
Kyobo Lifeplanet Life Insurance announced on the 13th that it has introduced the Naver authentication service for the first time in the life insurance industry.

Naver Authentication is available for all menus requiring authentication procedures, from product subscription to My Page login and loan application. Customers already using the Naver application (app) can use the blockchain-based Naver Authentication service without any additional installation process.
To commemorate the launch of the Naver Authentication service, a Pay accumulation event is also being held. Among customers who issue the Naver Authentication certificate for the first time, a total of 11,000 people will be selected by lottery to receive 1,000 Naver Pay points. The event participation period is until the 30th of this month.
In April, Kyobo Lifeplanet launched the Open Authentication service for the first time in the financial industry in collaboration with the Korea Financial Telecommunications & Clearings Institute. It is a kind of personalized authentication model that applies the customer's bio-authentication usage procedure to each company's authentication system. The service can be used by simply registering a fingerprint within the Kyobo Lifeplanet app.
They have introduced PIN (password) authentication service available with just a smartphone, fingerprint authentication service processed using biometric information, and Kakao Pay authentication.

A Kyobo Lifeplanet official said, "As a digital insurance company, it is meaningful to be able to introduce services ahead for customers," and added, "We will make further efforts to enhance customer convenience and differentiate our services."
