According to BBC and other sources on the 12th (local time), the UK government announced that it will hold the Queen's "Platinum Jubilee" (70th anniversary celebration) event from June 2 to 5, 2022.
To this end, the Bank Holiday in May 2022 will be postponed to June 2, and June 3 will be designated as an additional Bank Holiday, creating a four-day holiday including the weekend.
