Cheongam University "Sharing Happiness Together" Part 2 Program with Seniors 진행
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Cheongam University (President Seo Hyung-won) announced on the 12th that it conducted the second phase of the specialized college innovation support project, "Sharing Happiness Together," a program with senior citizens.
This program was organized by the Cheongam University Disabled Student Support Center (Director Ryu Dong-su) in collaboration with senior citizens using the Suncheon Comprehensive Welfare Center. It was conducted in strict accordance with COVID-19 safety guidelines, including hand sanitization, temperature checks, social distancing, and mask-wearing.
As a service visiting the senior citizens using the Suncheon Comprehensive Welfare Center, the program provided a joyful time that briefly revitalized the hearts of seniors who had been withdrawn due to COVID-19 through hand massages and nail art by students from the Beauty and Cosmetology Department, and companionship services by students from the Social Welfare Department.
Heo Gyu-man, director of the Suncheon Comprehensive Welfare Center, expressed gratitude to the Cheongam University staff who prepared the program and the students who participated in the volunteer work, saying, "The Sharing Happiness Together program conducted by Cheongam University provided an enjoyable and meaningful time for the seniors using the welfare center."
