Jungjingong-KT, Support for Long-term Retention of Key Personnel in the Non-face-to-face Sector
Business Agreement for Win-Win Tomorrow Filling Deduction to Support KT Partner Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 12th that it signed a Tomorrow Filling Deduction business agreement with KT (President Koo Hyun-mo, hereinafter KT) to strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium venture partners in the non-face-to-face sector. This business agreement is a follow-up measure to the 'Caring Company Business Agreement' signed in September by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, KT, and the Inno-Biz Association.
SBC and KT agreed to work together to support the Tomorrow Filling Deduction project to induce long-term retention of R&D personnel working in the non-face-to-face sector of partner small and medium venture companies and to attract excellent talent. SBC will support subscription to and operation/management of the Tomorrow Filling Deduction, while KT will handle recruitment, selection, and payment of support funds for eligible companies. KT will support 240,000 KRW per month per core personnel for two years as the company’s burden for companies subscribing to the Tomorrow Filling Deduction. This effectively covers the entire deduction payment burden borne by the company, easing the economic burden on partner companies.
Kim Hyung-soo, Head of the Job Division at SBC, said, "With this agreement, we expect to play a significant role in overcoming the employment crisis of partner companies caused by COVID-19 and in revitalizing innovative technologies in the non-face-to-face sector."
