Chairman Park Cha-hoon "Proactive Crisis Response"... 2021 Management Strategy Meeting
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] The National Credit Union Federation of Korea (Saemaeul Geumgo Joonganghoe) announced on the 9th that it held a '2021 Business Plan and Budget (Draft) Management Strategy Meeting' at the Central Headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, attended by about 40 executives and department heads of the Central Headquarters.
At the meeting, they evaluated the major business achievements of 2020, shared next year's departmental business plans and goals, and discussed the role of the National Credit Union Federation of Korea for the development of Saemaeul Geumgo.
Next year, they plan to expand projects including ▲strengthening digital finance to prepare for the post-COVID-19 era ▲improving fund management in response to prolonged low interest rates ▲supporting the establishment of foreign Saemaeul Geumgo models ▲expanding budgets for financial consumer protection and social contribution ▲and promoting joint benefits between local communities and Saemaeul Geumgo.

Chairman Park Cha-hoon emphasized, “Uncertainty is expected to continue next year due to the economic downturn caused by COVID-19,” adding, “We will strive for proactive responses to the crisis as well as fulfilling the social responsibilities of Saemaeul Geumgo and the Federation and achieving mutual growth.”
