He then expressed his determination for prosecutorial reform by mentioning the prosecution’s search and seizure related to the Wolsong Unit 1 nuclear power plant. Regarding U.S. President-elect Joe Biden, he expressed expectations, saying, “I believe he will heal the divisions and conflicts during the election process and lead the reconstruction of a united America well.” Lee stated, “President-elect Biden reflected the demands of the times in his pledges, such as reducing carbon emissions, expanding renewable energy, protecting labor and expanding welfare, improving healthcare like Obama Care, and increasing investment in technology,” and added, “This aligns with the path the Democratic Party is taking. The Democratic Party will also accelerate the expansion of employment insurance and industrial accident insurance, the enhancement of Moon Jae-in Care, and the promotion of the Korean New Deal.”
