The 'Daegu Dongin Elementary School Auditorium' is a building estimated to have been constructed between 1935 and 1937. A mansard roof was used to secure the floor height (the height between floors). The slope of the upper and lower roof surfaces of the hipped roof was designed in two stages of gradient. The slope is gentle at the top but steep at the bottom. An official explained, "As an old school facility in the old downtown area of Daegu, it well represents the structure and changes of urban space during the modern period. It holds significant meaning not only for urban history but also for educational and regional history."
