Sing Haiming, Chinese Ambassador: "Xi Jinping's Plan to Visit Korea Remains Unshaken"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] On the 3rd, Xing Haiming, the Chinese Ambassador to Korea, met with Lee Nak-yeon, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, and said, "Chinese President Xi Jinping's plan to visit Korea remains unwavering."
After receiving Ambassador Xing's visit, Lee told reporters, "We agreed to further develop the bilateral relationship closely," conveying this message.
Regarding the timing of President Xi's visit to Korea, Lee said, "We need to consider the COVID-19 situation and make various adjustments," but added, "However, it was confirmed that the visit plan remains firm."
Lee also conveyed that Ambassador Xing requested to visit China as soon as possible for party exchanges between the Democratic Party and the Communist Party of China.
Additionally, for small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners, Lee requested that they be included in China's fast-track policy to shorten entry and exit procedures, to which Ambassador Xing responded, "I will report to my home government and look for good solutions."
