GS25 Holds 'Cheer Up Korea Hanado Day' Event
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Convenience store GS25 is holding the 'Cheer Up Korea One More Day' event throughout this month.
GS25 announced on the 3rd that it has increased the number of event products by about 34% compared to the monthly average (based on the number of event products from January to October) to revitalize consumers struggling with untact consumption and COVID-19 blues.
For effective customer satisfaction, GS25 is conducting various events for a full month, longer than the Korea Sale Festa period (15 days). In addition to products such as chocolate snacks and jelly, which see significant sales growth this month, GS25 selected popular high-sales products. Customers can shop at affordable prices with carefully selected food items with high purchase frequency such as instant rice, cup noodles, refrigerated foods, and daily necessities.
There is a special promotion where purchasing Rocher event products with a Shinhan Card gives a 2+2 deal, and buying Choco Stick Snack event products with a BC Card also offers a 2+2 deal. Especially, by downloading coupons from the GS25 application 'The Pop,' customers can enjoy 1+1 events sequentially over weeks 1 to 4 with limited quantities of 11,111 each for Binggrae Banana Milk, Coca-Cola Slim Can 250ML, Samyang Buldak Bokkeum Myun (cup), and Kwangdong Jeju Samdasoo.
They are introducing 20 planned products featuring the ‘Teletubbies’ characters. Each product design incorporates the distinct personalities of ‘Bora-dori’, ‘Nana’, ‘Ttubi’, and ‘Ppo’ to evoke joyful memories.
To provide convenience for contactless shopping, events are also held in partnership with online commerce companies. From November 6 to 11, a 5,000 KRW discount will be offered when purchasing the One More Day set product through the delivery specialist Yogiyo.
