Through this agreement, both companies plan to mutually cooperate by jointly supporting outstanding startups in the mobility field, exploring collaboration opportunities, and sharing future follow-up investment opportunities.
Zero1 is a program where Hyundai Motor Group’s operational teams discover startups with excellent capabilities based on ideas, conduct collaborative projects, and verify and develop the potential applications of various innovative technologies.
Jung Kyu-wan, Head of Digital Strategy Division at Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance, said, "As mobility technologies and services rapidly advance, the risks faced by customers using them are also increasing. Through collaboration with Hyundai Motor Zero1, which possesses know-how and insights in nurturing mobility startups, we will support outstanding startups and develop this into a great opportunity to link with the insurance industry."
