[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Kim Jong-in, the Emergency Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, criticized the Democratic Party of Korea for announcing that they would field candidates for the Seoul and Busan mayoral elections, calling it a "breach of promise."
On the afternoon of the 29th, after a press conference held at the Jeonbuk Provincial Council, Kim told reporters, "The Democratic Party's party rules state that they would not field candidates due to self-blame reasons, but this is a breach of promise."
Regarding the verdict on former President Lee Myung-bak, he refrained from commenting, saying, "That is a court ruling, so what can I say about it?"
