Gwangju City Signs Investment Agreement with Rich & Co., Ltd. for Non-Face-to-Face Insurance Consultation Center
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 29th that it has signed an investment agreement with Rich & Co., Ltd., a corporate insurance agency, to establish a customer center (non-face-to-face insurance consultation center).
Through this investment agreement, Rich & Co., Ltd. plans to open a non-face-to-face insurance consultation center with 100 seats in Gwangju around February next year and prioritize hiring Gwangju citizens. Gwangju City will provide administrative and financial support, including investment attraction subsidies, to ensure the smooth operation of the insurance consultation center.
Established in 2006, Rich & Co., Ltd. has about 480 employees at its Seoul headquarters and over 3,500 commissioned planners nationwide. It is a solid company with annual sales reaching 259.7 billion KRW in 2019, providing services such as insurance consultation and comparison, and financial consulting.
In particular, about 900 employees work in Rich & Co.'s non-face-to-face consultation division, handling over 200,000 insurance contract signings annually. Rich & Co. boasts the highest indicators in the corporate insurance agency non-face-to-face industry in all areas, including the number of non-face-to-face insurance consultations, manager personnel, and length of service.
Due to these optimal customer center location conditions, Gwangju currently has 69 customer centers employing over 7,300 consultants.
