Nexen Tire Conducts Blood Donation Campaign with Employees Together
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Nexen Tire announced on the 27th that on the 26th, employees from the Central Research Institute in Seoul and the Changnyeong Plant in Gyeongsangnam-do participated in a blood donation campaign.
Nexen Tire organized the blood donation campaign to help address the shortage of blood supply caused by the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The participating employees followed infectious disease prevention guidelines such as wearing masks, temperature checks, and hand sanitization in accordance with social distancing measures while taking part in the blood donation campaign.
Nexen Tire has been continuously promoting group blood donation campaigns involving employees across all its workplaces, including the Yangsan Plant and Changnyeong Plant located in Gyeongsangnam-do, every year.
Additionally, Nexen Tire signed a business agreement with the Blood Management Headquarters of the Korean Red Cross on the same day to promote a voluntary blood donation culture.
