Daekyo Opens 'Bookstore Popup Store' in Jeju
Social Contribution Activities for the Promotion of Reading Culture
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] Daekyo announced on the 27th that it will open a popup store called 'The World's Largest Bookstore' in Jeju.
The popup store will be held from the 30th of this month to the 1st of next month at 'Sakye Saenghwal' in Seogwipo, Jeju Island.
Daekyo, together with the Daekyo Cultural Foundation, prepared the popup store as part of its social contribution activities to promote reading culture. It was planned to create a space to share artistic activities with local bookstores and related industry workers.

A Daekyo official said, "We are supporting local bookstores nationwide in the form of popup stores so that they can expand their sales channels beyond regional limits to other areas," adding, "We will actively support gathering bookstore contents from across the country in one place to provide each bookstore with opportunities to expand their business."
