On the same day, Chairman Chey comforted the bereaved family at the funeral hall set up at Samsung Medical Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, saying, "Personally, I feel regretful and sorrowful."
Regarding his relationship with Chairman Lee Kun-hee, he recalled, "I received a lot of guidance while traveling abroad together."
