Seodaemun Residents Reclaim Vitality Through Walking Amid COVID-19 Fatigue
Seodaemun-gu Hosts 2020 Untact Resident Walking Event... Held for 3 Weeks, 1 Week Each on Ansan Jarak-gil, Bukhansan Jarak-gil, and Baekryeonsan Ridge Trail... Various Prizes Including Seoul Love Gift Certificates, Health Checkup Vouchers, and Bicycles Offered
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Moon Seok-jin) will hold a series of 'Untact Citizen Walking' events for three weeks from October 26 to November 15 on Ansan Jarak-gil, Bukhansan Jarak-gil, and Baekryeonsan Ridge Trail.
Anyone can participate without separate registration by installing and running the 'WalkOn' app on their smartphone during the event period (Challenge → 2020 Untact Seodaemun Citizen Walking) and walking the designated courses.
The first event will be held from October 26 to November 1 on the Ansan Jarak-gil section (Jarak-gil Entrance ∼ Shinum Shelter ∼ Observatory ∼ Neunganjeong ∼ Forest Stage ∼ Yeonheung Badminton Court), and the second event will take place from November 2 to 8 on the Bukhansan Jarak-gil section (Sillak Park ∼ Hongrok Badminton Court ∼ Observatory ∼ Pobangteo Shelter ∼ Okcheonam).
The third event will be held from November 9 to 15 on the Baekryeonsan Ridge Trail section (Palgakjeong ∼ Eunpyeongjeong ∼ Nongol ∼ Ecological Connection Bridge).
If participants walk at least 80% of the designated course during the event period, they will be entered into a drawing to win prizes including 5 health check-up vouchers (provided by Gangbuk Samsung Hospital), 100 Bluetooth wireless earphones (provided by Woori Bank), and 10 bicycles (provided by I&G Environment Co., Ltd.).
Additionally, 200 people per event will be selected by lottery to receive mobile Seoul Love Gift Certificates (5,000 KRW).
