Gwanak-gu Humanities Support Center & Lifelong Learning Center YouTube Lecture 'Popular'
Easily Watch Various Lectures Such as Educational and Cultural Courses and Talent Sharing Schools Without Time and Space Constraints
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) has established and is operating a Humanities Support Center & Lifelong Learning Center YouTube channel where various courses from the Lifelong Learning Center can be viewed online in response to social distancing measures due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The district had prepared to reopen the Lifelong Learning Center as social distancing measures were eased, but as the situation prolonged, it decided to operate various courses through a YouTube channel without time and space restrictions to meet the demands of residents who were becoming exhausted.
Along with specialized courses such as the ‘MS Office Program One-Point Lecture’ taught by a computer instructor, practical and simple lectures for seniors, such as ‘How to Retrieve Your Gwanak-gu Office Website Password Online,’ are also being offered.
There are also experiential activity lectures like ‘Origami Class to Make with Mom and Dad’ for young children and elementary students who find it difficult to go outside.
In particular, the ‘Room Corner Humanities Travel’ course, which helps relieve the frustration caused by COVID-19 through humanities, is available in domestic and European editions, and real-time non-face-to-face humanities lectures are also being conducted.
The Talent Sharing School, which connects residents with various talents and those who want to learn, is also being operated online through the Lifelong Learning Center YouTube channel.
Educational videos will be continuously uploaded, and by searching ‘Gwanak-gu Lifelong Learning Center’ in the YouTube search bar and subscribing, residents can attend the lectures.
