According to Huanqiu.com on the 16th, only 8 Chinese international students were issued U.S. student visas in June this year. This is a decrease of more than 90% compared to 34,001 in June last year.
The number of Chinese researchers who received U.S. visiting scholar visas also sharply declined to 8. The number of Chinese researchers who received visiting scholar visas in June last year was 5,736.
