Kim Moo-sung: "Which opposition presidential candidate could be worse than Moon Jae-in?"
"When Serious Competition Begins, a Star Will Be Born"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Former People Power Party lawmaker Kim Moo-sung sharply targeted President Moon Jae-in on the 15th, saying, "Among the current contenders within the party, who could be worse than Moon Jae-in, who is ruining our country?"
On the same day, after a lecture by Jeju Governor Won Hee-ryong at the 'Forum for a Better World' (Mapo Forum), Kim told reporters, "Many say there are no capable people in our party, but I don't think so at all," adding, "I believe a star will emerge once the real competition begins."
Kim said, "What is important for presidential candidates is a strong will to become president and save the country from its dire straits," and added, "Due to various circumstances, our party's candidates have not shown this, but I hope today marks a good opportunity for them to actively express their determination."
He emphasized, "This election is about how to set the rules of the game and firmly establish an anti-Moon coalition so that all like-minded candidates participate and select the best player."
