Gwangju Usan District Police Station Conducts Promotional Activities on Response Measures for Different Types of Voice Phishing

On the 15th, according to Gwangsan Police Station, the Usan Substation visited 31 convenience stores in the jurisdiction to conduct fraud prevention promotional activities targeting convenience store cashiers, explaining new methods such as messenger phishing using KakaoTalk gift certificates and Google gift cards.
This promotional activity was initiated to eradicate recent telephone financial frauds that have seriously harmed the livelihoods of ordinary citizens.
The Usan Substation directly visited convenience stores and financial districts, distributed flyers, and explained the new methods, advising that in case of receiving similar calls, they should promptly report to 112.
