Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head Lee Jongho) announced that members of the woodworking club 'Geumgangsong Workshop' donated custom-made solid wood furniture such as AV cabinets and storage benches, handcrafted by themselves, to the Nagok 2-ri village hall in Buk-myeon, Uljin-gun on the 15th.
The 'Geumgangsong Workshop' members, who gathered for community sharing activities, planned the project from the end of last year and from February to September, they met at the workshop to cut and process solid wood materials, working hard to create sturdy and safe furniture.
The old and worn AV cabinet was sturdily made using merbau wood, which is considered a high-quality and durable type of solid wood. A storage-function indoor bench chair was also delivered for elderly people with leg difficulties.
