LG CNS Unveils 10 Types of Enterprise 'AI Service Platform'
A Convenient 'AI Shopping Mall' for Using AI Services
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] LG CNS has unveiled 10 types of AI service platforms for enterprises.
On the afternoon of the 15th, LG CNS held a webinar related to AI service platforms and introduced AI services and actual application cases.
LG CNS's AI service platforms provide a total of 10 AI services, including 3 visual AI types, 6 language AI types, and 1 hybrid AI type.
They can be accessed and used through the newly opened AI service portal. It allows users to quickly and easily find AI services that solve inconvenient points in corporate work processes. It is a kind of 'AI shopping mall' where users can conveniently use AI services.
Companies that want to quickly verify whether the products ordered by customers before delivery are properly assembled can use the visual AI 'Product Recognition.' The AI accurately identifies the product configuration in just 0.1 seconds. This enables fast delivery even with a surge in orders.
Companies that want to classify hundreds of thousands of employee training materials by rank and job type can select the language AI 'Document Type Classification.' This feature can classify 100,000 documents per day as desired, taking about 0.7 seconds per document.
All LG CNS AI services are cloud-based web services. They basically require no separate system construction, and all AI services can be used as long as there is an internet connection. By inserting a specific address (URI) into existing systems or applications, AI functions such as product recognition and document type classification operate.
Among visual AI services, LG CNS also provides 'AI Vision Inspection,' which recognizes images to detect defective products, and in the language AI domain, the 'AI Chatbot' service that can respond to customer inquiries. Users can design these services themselves.
For example, personnel in the process management department of a factory can conveniently execute AI Vision Inspection through the screen provided on the AI service portal. The AI Chatbot allows creating conversation scenarios without coding, so personnel working in departments like customer service can design and operate conversation flows without developer assistance. All development environments are provided through internet browsers such as Chrome.

During the webinar, LG CNS introduced cases such as LG Chem, which achieved over 99.5% accuracy in defect detection by adopting AI Vision Inspection in the battery exterior defect judgment process, and KB Kookmin Bank, which is successfully operating AI Chatbots. Kim Hong-geun, Executive Vice President and CTO of LG CNS, said, "Many companies are wondering which AI services to adopt," adding, "The answer can be found in LG CNS's AI service platform introduced this time."
