Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education Provides 'Customized Counseling' for Non-Face-to-Face College Entrance Interviews
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 15th that it will provide guidance materials and individualized counseling for examinees to effectively respond to the newly introduced non-face-to-face evaluation in the 2021 college entrance interview.
The non-face-to-face interview evaluation guidance materials were created as an online lecture by the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education's college entrance support officer, who compiled materials from each university. The lecture consists of five parts: a basic section that explains common aspects applied to the non-face-to-face interview method, and four types of sections that guide key points for each type.
The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education provides these materials through the Office of Education's 'Career and Academic Information Center' and the YouTube channel 'Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education Career and Academic on-air.' It also informed schools to utilize these materials for college entrance guidance related to non-face-to-face interviews.
For examinees who find it difficult to participate in mock interviews through schools, counseling related to non-face-to-face interviews will be offered through the Office of Education's permanent college entrance counseling room. Previously, the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education's College Entrance Navigation Center has been conducting face-to-face and non-face-to-face academic counseling through the 'Permanent College Entrance Counseling Room' on the first floor of the main building since the early days of COVID-19.

Applications will be accepted starting from 10 a.m. on the 26th.
