Gyeongnam Regional Public Procurement Service Visits 'Wine Gallery' at Cham Darae Wine Production Site
Discussion on Support for Public Distribution Channels of Traditional Liquor
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] The Gyeongnam Regional Public Procurement Service announced on the 15th that it visited 'Yeongnong Cooperative Corporation Oreumjuga' in Sacheon City, toured the manufacturing site of kiwi wine, and conducted on-site communication activities by listening to difficulties.
Oreumjuga produces wine using kiwi, a local specialty of Sacheon City, and sells it on the market. In 2019, it signed a unit price contract with the Gyeongnam Regional Public Procurement Service for 'four types of kiwi wine,' which are used by various public institutions for regional promotion and traditional liquor tasting events.
Additionally, kiwi wine is praised for its unique refreshing taste and aroma, expressing more than 10 types of organic acids such as abundant organic acids, malic acid, and citric acid, making it a perfect match with light dishes that are not strongly flavored.
In particular, this place has transformed a currently closed train tunnel into a wine aging cellar, maintaining a constant temperature (12~17℃) at all times to produce high-quality kiwi wine. During the summer period from August to October, it is open to the public, allowing visitors to enjoy the fragrant wine aroma and appreciate various artworks displayed inside the wine gallery, making it a popular spot for family outings or vacation visits.
