Hyundai Motor Ranks First in Customer Satisfaction Survey in China for 7 Consecutive Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Beijing Hyundai, Hyundai Motor Company's joint venture in China, announced on the 15th that it ranked first in maintenance service satisfaction in the '2020 Automobile Customer Satisfaction Survey (CACSI)' conducted by the China Association for Quality.
Beijing Hyundai tied for first place in the maintenance service category alongside Volkswagen, Toyota, and Honda, achieving the number one position in the service sector for seven consecutive years since 2014.
Meanwhile, the China Association for Quality is a government-affiliated organization responsible for quality-related evaluations, consulting, certification, as well as customer satisfaction research and surveys. Every year, it conducts customer satisfaction surveys through customer visits and interviews across various sectors such as automobiles, steel, and machinery.
This survey targeted customers who purchased vehicles 1 to 3 years ago and covered five categories related to maintenance services: ▲service attitude ▲service efficiency ▲service quality ▲dealer facilities and environment ▲service costs, with a total of 41 items surveyed. This year, the survey was conducted in 70 major cities across China, covering 180 models from 50 brands.

High maintenance service satisfaction indicates that automobile companies are not merely selling vehicles but are continuously striving to satisfy customers even after sales. This directly influences the increase in used car resale value, enhances brand image, and plays a decisive role in repurchase decisions.
Beijing Hyundai also reaffirmed its competitiveness as a top customer service company by receiving the Excellent Maintenance Enterprise Award in the Consumer Satisfaction Survey announced at the China Quality Miles Promotion Conference last August.
