According to the police on the 14th, Lee submitted a complaint against Kim to the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul on the same day. Lee's side is reported to claim that Kim is suspected of violating the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. (defamation).
On the same day, Lee stated through his YouTube channel 'Captain Lee Geun ROKSEAL,' which he operates, "I plan to send complaints to everyone who has spread false information or leaked personal information." The day before, through the same YouTube channel, Lee also wrote, "All the current allegations regarding my career and academic background, including those related to the UN, are not true," adding, "My career is evidence of my hard work and pride." Regarding the sexual harassment conviction, he stated, "The consistent testimony of the female victim was accepted as evidence, resulting in a guilty verdict," and claimed, "I did not commit any harassment. I appealed to the end on my own will to reveal the truth."
Previously, Kim claimed that Lee's UN work experience was false and exposed past sexual violence allegations. It is known that Lee was convicted by the Supreme Court on sexual harassment charges.

Meanwhile, Ha Seo-jung, the lawyer representing Lee's sexual harassment victim, said in a statement on the same day, "The victim was greatly shocked and expressed regret that the difficult matter was unintentionally made public and that Lee is claiming the Supreme Court's final ruling is false information."
